What is Consignment?

What could be better than turning the items you no longer wear or use into extra cash? Consigning at Guggy’s Fine Resale makes it easy to give your new or gently loved clothing, handbags, and accessories a second life—while earning money in the process.

At Guggy’s, we operate strictly on consignment, meaning we carefully showcase and sell your items for you rather than buying them outright.

And if you bring pieces we’re unable to accept, we’re happy to help you donate them to trusted local nonprofits. It’s a simple, sustainable way to refresh your closet and support our community at the same time.

Do I Need an Appointment?

No but we recommend that you do.

***Please Be Aware***

  • If you are a new consignor, you must make an appointment for your first visit.

  • Walk-In Consignments are taken on a first-come, first-served basis — except on Saturdays, which are reserved for appointments only.

  • Walk-Ins are limited to 25 items or fewer.

What Items Do You Accept?

Guggy's accepts new and gently used women's clothes, shoes and accessories. We love contemporary brands, luxury designer labels, and stylish, funky vintage in excellent condition.

We proudly consider a wide and inclusive range of sizes and styles but use the following guidelines to curate our collection:

  • All items must be freshly pressed, laundered or dry cleaned.
  • Items are free of holes, pilling, odors, pet hair, and stains. There should be no missing buttons, labels or broken zippers.
  • Generally, all items should be "trendy" or purchased within the last two years. Exceptions may be made for classic, universal styles, luxury and/or vintage items.
  • Items should be seasonally appropriate. See our seasonal consignment schedule for more details.
  • Items should be neatly folded in bags, bins, or boxes OR presented neatly on hangers (We will return your hangers, bags and boxes)

While we’d love to take each and every item, items are carefully selected based style, condition and the needs of our sales floor.

I'm In! What's Next?

  • If your items are accepted for consignment, you will sign a consignor's contract. Your items will be added to the sales floor, becoming part of Guggy's inventory. When an item sells, you will be awarded a percentage of the sale price via ACH or check.

  • If the items have not sold by the end of your consignment period, you are responsible for picking up any unsold items within 7 business days. After 7 days, the items become property of Guggy's Fine Resale, LLC.

How Do I Get Paid?

  • At the first appointment, consignors will receive access to their consignor portal.

The Consignor Access portal can be used to set up direct deposit through a secure website to receive payouts. You will also be able to view your inventory and account balance.

NOTE: If you prefer a check, a $3.00 processing fee will be assessed.

  • Consignor payouts will be issued on the 15th of each month for items sold during the previous month.

Guggy's Fine Resale uses a graduated percentage scale for commissions based on the selling price of the item.

  • Items sold for $499 or less - the consignor receives 40%.
  • Items sold between $500-$999 - the consignor receives 50%.
  • Items sold for over $1000 - the consignor receives 70%.

Guggy’s Fine Resale DOES NOT accept the following items in any condition: Pajamas, Socks, Underwear, Tights/Hosiery, Swimsuits, Scrubs, Wedding Gowns, Costumes, Wigs, Men’s or Children’s Clothing
